Great Britain Great Britain

London: 2nd-4th March 2011

The workshop in London served as a discussion forum for the central output of the project – the bike sharing manual. The participants discussed hypotheses and recommendations for the handbook and got to know the local bike sharing system Barclays Cycle Hire (or “Boris Bikes”). With these, the OBIS experts went on a guided tour on one of London’s new Cycle Superhighways and were able to experience London’s efforts to improve its cycling culture.

The London workshop has been the last OBIS meeting prior the final conference in Prague on 21st June 2011. All OBIS experts will share the project results in presentations and discussions. The bike sharing manual will be presented and shared at this conference. The participation is free of charge, but places are limited so we recommend you register early to avoid disappointment.
